ok i got a mad king thorn today and i sold him for Gwen 30 ectos and 40 plat.
A: is this a good deal. B: do i dedicate gwen? C: how do i get rid of prince rurik or should i sell him? Basically is dedicating going to be worth it in the future? |

A. If you're happy with it, it's a good deal.
B. You dedicate at your Hall of Monuments. C. Sell Rurik to someone else if you don't want him any more. Regarding dedicating, no one knows yet what benefits it will provide in GW2. |

There is no way of telling right now what you will get for putting stuff in your HoM.
I personally put 20 mini's in (Including a Rurik) but if you have something like a Gwen sell it and then get a few more mini's for cheaper. |

Well, in the future, GW2 will be played by everyone here (or not, but they won't be playing GW1 anymore). So yes, dedication makes sense. If you are still not sure ask yourself these questions:
1) Will you be playing GW2? 2) How much more will you be playing GW1? 3) How much do you care about money in GW1? If the answer to 1 is yes and the rest no, you should dedicate. Until then, wait, because no one knows how GW2 will be at this point. You should hang tight. I dedicate all of mine simply because I don't care about money and I think I will play GW2. |

A) According to the mini's pricing guide thread, last posted mini Thorn went for 150e and Gwen went for 100+15e. So, no you probably didn't get a good deal.
B) Up to you. We don't know the rewards for dedicating in HoM yet or whether dedicating one rarer mini over another more common mini will have any effect. C) Sell it in Kam/LA/Kaineng/Guru's sell forum. Or the thrash bin. |

I for one will continue to play GW1 and GW2. I have no plans of just quitting GW1 after all the time put into it. But, on topic, comes down to either you want money or you can dedicate them for the future in gw2. Another option is to dedicate them and resell them for less.

right both dedicated. btw i knew all the points about not knowing if that makes sense but i was wondering your opinions.
and on the value of money i was thinking mabye spend it on more titles? or destroyer weapons for the hall. well its done now and i have gwen and the bone dragon in my hall. On the point of a good deal i think it was as the price is gonna level of eventually and im still 30e in pocket. sorry to sound like ive just asked a question and then answered after y guys answered it. realised that with abit of soul searching i knew the answer. edit* playingGW2 defo. im gonna e interested to see what we get and hope its intesting And not overpowered or game affecting. but not like cooler starter weapons coz that would make me cry. |

Save your Gwen until GW2 comes out or just before it comes out in-case some-one makes you a very good offer for it, and if by the time GW2 comes out u still have it then dedicate it, theres very little advantage to dedicating it before then
